Spokes for Folks is a community Non-Profit bicycle cooperative whose mission is to empower communities by engaging in activities that promote environmentalism and human equity. Spokes for Folks recovers Landfill-Bound Bicycles, repairs them to working condition and prepares them for shipment to developing countries.
Cooperative members organize through the concepts of volunteering, collective decision making, self-empowerment, and cooperative learning.
Spokes for Folks Bicycle Cooperative recycles locally and delivers them to communities in need at low cost to provide sustainable development in their countries.
We are currently accepting donations of: Complete Bicycles, Bicycle Parts, Bicycle Frames, Brake Cables, Bike Tools and 2 Bike Stands.
